SUBTLE GRAPHIC HITS
KARLHEINZ WEINBERGER PICTURES
NY’s Swiss Institute will have the first institutional exhibition of vintage prints by the late Karlheinz Weinberger (1921-2006). An unsung amature photographer of a young generation of rebels, who were greatly influenced by American culture.
Currently the NY Swiss Institute has the exhibition on, still for one more week.
I am going to buy the book.
BUTTONS
I am inspired by my own collection of Art Deco, Jugenstill, 40′s, 50′s & 60′ s buttons, great to have a look at when I do sundries design or need colour ideas. Here are some pretty coloured ones, from the 40′s early 50′s. I scroll fleemarkets and own over thousands of wonderfull finds! My vintage sundries are for sale, please let me know when you are interested, or are in search of a button from a of a certain kind time, material, colour, or shape.
David Claerbout overview show is on @ Wiels – centre for modern art Brussels. A very impressive & inspiring show!
